Collapse “quoted” text in emails in communication conversation overview

What’s new

The system now automatically collapses the quoted text from older emails within a conversation thread, ensuring that only the latest response remains fully expanded by default. This small but impactful technical development significantly cleans up the user interface for long email exchanges.

This update is automatically available to you once the release is launched. Please note that the usage of this update could depend on system setups (which modules/products you use) and user roles.

Problem being solved

Email conversation threads, especially those with multiple replies, became visually cumbersome and difficult to navigate because all quoted text from previous emails remained fully open. This made it challenging for users to quickly read the latest information and follow the flow of the conversation, wasting valuable time.

Benefit for the users

Users can now focus immediately on the current, most relevant part of the communication without having to scroll through large blocks of historical quoted text. This significantly enhances the readability and user experience, resulting in a more efficient and productive workflow when managing complex client and supplier email chains.
