This month, we are launching exciting product updates in Lemax. Learn about the details below (available from May 7th, 2026).

Passenger and Customer connection management

What’s new

Passengers can now be linked to existing customers and duplicate passengers can be merged into a single record, improving data consistency across the system.

This update is automatically available to you once the release is launched. Please note that the usage of this update could depend on system setups (which modules/products you use) and user roles.

Problem being solved

Previously, passengers were automatically created with new customers and could not be linked to existing customer records. This led to duplicate data, fragmented customer profiles, and limited ability to maintain a clean and unified database.

Benefit for the users

Users can now maintain a single source of truth for customer and passenger data by linking and merging records. This reduces duplication, improves data accuracy, and streamlines operations such as reservations and customer management, ultimately saving time and minimizing errors.

How it works

Connect passenger to customer

  • A new link icon is available in the Passengers grid across all relevant views
  • Clicking the link icon opens a window where users can search and select an existing customer.
  • If a passenger is already linked, the customer is preselected; otherwise, a placeholder “Start typing a name” is shown.
  • Upon linking:
    • Passenger basic data is overwritten with customer data.
    • Custom fields on passengers remain unchanged.

  • If you wish to disconnect a passenger from a customer, delete the linked customer. This allows you to connect the passenger to another customer or leave it unlinked.

Display connected customer in grid

  • A new Customer column is added to the Passengers grid.
  • If a passenger is linked, users can directly open the connected customer from the grid.

Merge 2 Passengers

  • Users can now merge two passengers into a single record by selecting which passenger remains. All reservations from the merged passenger are automatically reassigned to the retained passenger.
