This month, we are launching exciting product updates in Lemax. Learn about the details below (available from 28th May 2025).

What’s new

Channel Manager (CM) contracts are now fully supported in the B2B API. This update ensures CM contract data is exposed and can be processed through all key booking flows.

Please contact support@lemax.net for additional information for advisory services on how this update could be set up for your instance or if you have any additional inquiries.

Problem being solved

Previously, B2B API users could not access or book Channel Manager contracts because these were unavailable in the API. Third-party supplier content (via CM contracts) was excluded from search results, detailed product descriptions, and reservation insertions, limiting the product offering.

Benefit for the users

B2B API users can now access a broader range of inventory, including third-party supplier content managed through CM contracts. This expands the booking opportunities, increases product availability, and provides more flexibility and options to end customers. For users integrating with the B2B API, this removes previous technical and commercial limitations tied to CM contract handling, enhancing the overall value of the integration.

How it works

GetSearchResults / GetDetailedDescription

These methods now return CM contracts, with UnitCode populated to indicate a third-party supplier. This makes it clear in the API response which units come through the Channel Manager.

InsertReservation

The method is updated to support booking CM contracts. When creating a reservation via the B2B API, units that are part of a CM contract will carry the UnitCode in the booking request, ensuring correct processing.
