Travel product search

In the Travel product search, there is a Room configuration field.

This part of the search refers to third party suppliers and if your Lemax system is not connected to any of the third party suppliers, you can not use this functionality to search the products in Lemax system.

The integration between Amadeus and Lemax is done by installation of the virtual printer on one of your computers that will always be running. This installation of virtual printer is done by Amadeus. The printer saves AIR files locally on your computer. On the same computer, we install an application that picks up those AIR files and imports them into the Lemax system.

It is necessary for Amadeus and Lemax integration that Amadeus installs the virtual printer and sets it in a way it that prints out AIR pseudo EDIFACT files. When they do it, we connect to that computer and set up the import.

Here is how Amadeus should set the virtual printer:

Availability tab is not working. What has happened? Read full article

If Availability information is not being displayed when you click the Availability tab, the cause of the problem is that your browser is not allowing Flash player to be run.

If you are using Google Chrome please follow these steps:

  1. To the left of the web address, click the icon you see: Lock Lock, Info Info, or Dangerous Dangerous.
  2. Drop down menu will open. Click on Site settings
  3. Site settings will open. Click on the drop-down menu next to Flash and select Allow
  4. Close tab with settings.
  5. Chrome will return to Lemax system and browser will ask you to reload the page. Click on reload

If you have forgotten your password, please follow these steps:

1. Open the login page and click the Forgot password? link.

2. Enter your login email address into the Email field and press Send.

A password reset link will be sent to your email address. (Be sure to check your spam folder)

3. Click the link which you have received to your email address (Note: the link is valid for 24 hours).

4. Enter the new password and click OK.

You can check payments every time you log in the system.

Red reservations in status Option means that advance amount is not paid on time and the option date has expired. Yellow reservations in status Option means that advance amount is not paid on time and the option date is expiring today.
Red reservations in status Confirmed means that the remaining amount is not payed on time. Yellow reservations in status Confirmed means the remaining amount is not payed on time, the date for the remaining amount to be payed is expiring today.

The satisfaction survey link can be added inside of a message that will be send to a customer.

  1. Edit a reservation.
  2. Find the Documents field and click Send icon next to the document you wish to send.
  3. Use Hyperlink Manager icon to add a survey link.

If you want to include a survey inside of an online message:

  1. Open Options → Online booking messages from the main menu.
  2. Click Edit icon on one scenario.
  3. Use Hyperlink Manager icon to add a survey link.

Is it possible to add another reservation status or to rename the existing ones? Read full article

Lemax uses 7 different statuses that cover all travel business processes. It is not possible to add new or to rename existing reservation statuses, since you can switch your reservation between statuses the way you want. Yes, this is possible to check easily. Lemax provides very useful options for tracking and controlling if documents were send to a client and date/time when they were sent. In this example the Invoice document will be used, but this can also be applied to some other documents in Lemax.

First, we can create an invoice on a specific reservation and send it to our customer by e-mail. Later, we can check if this invoice was send to our customer.

  1. Select Documents in main menu.
  2. Choose Invoice to display the list of all the invoices in the system.
  3. Use filter options to find a specific invoice.

As displayed on the image below, you can use Sent by e-mail and Sending time by e-mail columns to check the e-mail sending time/date.

Sent by e-mail check box can be ticked automatically, if the e-mail was send directly from the system. Sending time by e-mail column will be automatically filled with date and time. This check box can also be ticked manually and exact date/time will be filled in other column.

The similar rules apply to Sent by post and Sending time by post columns, but Sent by post check box have to be manually ticked, since Lemax can not know when did you send your  invoice by post. You can also notice that Sent by post column have check boxes only on certain rows.

It is because during invoice creating you have to specify will a certain invoice be sent by post or not, as shown on the next image.

If you tick Will be sent by post check box during invoice creating, the check box will appear in the grid with the invoices and you will be able to tick it when you need.

Yes, this is possible. When you start to use Lemax, and you have reservations in your old system, we can upload your previous reservations to Lemax. When you start to create reservations in your Lemax, they can start from specific number. To add more rooms, transfers or any other product of the same type, follow next steps:

  1. Add all room types to the same reservation.
    NOTE: You can use item description to define option 1, option 2 and so on.

Every reservation you create in Lemax has its own unique number called Reservaton number. When you create a new reservation, it gets its reservation number automatically and you can not change it.

Usually, reservation numbers are in sequence, but sometimes it seems that some numbers “are missing” and the reservations are not in sequence. Do not be afraid, due to specific programming and database rules it may seem some numbers are skipped, but what is important is that every reservation number is unique and that every new reservation has reservation number bigger than the reservation before.

Can I reverse Name and Surname on the documents for my partners, customers and passengers? Read full article

In Lemax we use standard Name and Surname text boxes for partners, customers or passengers data. It is standard to display firstly the Surname, then followed by Name on the documents, but if in your business process you need reverse order on documents you issue (e.g. Offer, Pro-forma Invoice, Invoice, Vouchers etc.), it can be set. Opening the document

After opening the file in Microsoft Excel, the window will appear. If you wish to view or edit the file, click on ‘Yes’.

The window is not popping up

If you do not see the mentioned window and are unable to open the file, go to File -> Options.

After entering the Settings menu, find the Trust Center options menu and select “Trust Center Settings” as shown on the print screen below.

After clicking on the “Trust Center Settings” choose Protected View options menu.  You should untick the “Enable Protected view for files originated from the internet” feature.

Reservation created between is filter that helps you to find the list of reservations created in some specific period, for example last week or last month. Remember that second date is not included. If you want to find reservations created today, choose tomorrow as the last date.

Check in between filter helps you to find all reservations that have at least one item that starts between this two dates. Check out filter finds all reservations that have at least one last item with end date between this two dates. Reservation period between is filter that helps you to find reservations with travel dates between some specific period..For example, if reservation has one item with travel dates from 3/11 till 10/11 then I will find it by filter Check in only if I include first date. Reservation period between filter will find this reservation by any dates that include travel dates, even if I don’t include check in and check out dates.
